Young Drivers Guide

When you reach 17, all you want to do is learn how to drive. Having that freedom of going wherever you want, whenever you want, can be great.

Motorway Driving

Motorway driving is different than towns or rural driving.  BirchaLL School of Motoring recommends you have 2 more hours of lessons after you have passed your test to gain some experience of motorway driving.  

The speed on the motorway is much greater and therefore, you need to consider:


Refresher Course

If you are lacking in confidence or you have not driven for some time and want some supervised practice before you drive on your own again, you may need a refresher course.  

Your Kev will tailor the course according to your individual needs and can assist you with:  Night driving, Motorway driving, Roundabouts, Parking (reverse manoeuvre) Traffic signs, Speed awareness The sooner you start; the sooner you'll be a more confident, safer and aware driver.


Pass Plus

After passing your test, would you like to start with a discount off your car insurance.  If you choose an additional 6 hours driving with the instructor and you cover the following:

After you have covered all these areas your instructor will inform the Driving Standards Agency and they will give you a certificate.  If you let your insurance company know and they are a member of the scheme they will give you a discount.
